Chairman’s Greeting

2024 looks to be another exciting and successful year for Gamma Mu Educational Services, Inc. This will be our 13th year of continuing the mission and vision of the organization, which is to: “mentor and support the positive development of youth, primarily young men and boys in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area”. GMES, Inc. provides support to our like minded, Partner organizations in their facilitation of established programming, as well as in their development of new, innovative programs and initiatives. These programs are designed to empower youth with knowledge, skills and experiences needed to build confidence and foster personal accountability in both the classroom and the community. Our Board of Director members are accomplished, professional, African-American men who are enthusiastic about sharing their wisdom and expertise with our partner organizations and the youth they serve.

Planning for our major fundraiser, the annual GMES-Pathways To Excellence Golf Tournament is actively underway. The tournament will be held Saturday May 11, 2024, at the challenging Papago Golf course in Phoenix, Arizona. Please log in to https://birdease.com/Pathways2ExcellenceGolf2024 in order to peruse the tournament website, register a foursome or individual player and also hopefully become an event Sponsor. This will also be the second year presentation of the novel concept, “The 19th Hole Par-Tee”, which provides an onsite venue for food, beverages, fun, golf related games, contests and entertainment for non-golfers, while the actual players are out on the course. There is also a Donate Now button for those unable to participate in the tournament fundraising activities who wish to support this worthy cause.
